How CarbonML connects to business tools.

Overview

CarbonML integrates with existing phone numbers, scheduling tools, and business workflows. Each integration is configured based on your business needs and operational constraints.

The system is designed to work alongside your current setup. No replacements are necessary. Integrations are transparent and adapt to organizational requirements.

Collaboration during onboarding ensures tools are connected and operating as intended from the start.

Phone System Integrations

CarbonML integrates with business phone systems through multiple supported deployment models, including call forwarding from an existing business number, parallel AI lines, or ported numbers using a call control platform for longer-term integration.

The platform works with mobile carriers and business phone providers. Options depend on carrier capabilities and organizational requirements. Whenever possible, customers continue to call the same business number.

Integration specifics are defined and validated before activation.

Scheduling Integrations

CarbonML integrates with scheduling platforms such as Cal.com to check availability, book appointments, prevent double bookings, and respect working hours and blackout rules using limited-access API keys only.

Account passwords are never requested or required for integration.

Calendar Integrations

Scheduling tools may connect to Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar. CarbonML reads real schedules through these integrations to ensure accuracy, always via the scheduling platform.

Human Escalation Connections

CarbonML connects to designated human escalation endpoints including office phones, staff mobiles, reception desks, or VoIP extensions. Escalation rules and availabilities are set and reviewed during onboarding.

No calls are routed without explicit configuration approval.

Security and Access Control

All integrations operate on limited-scope access. Permissions are strictly managed and can be revoked at any time.

No unrelated data is accessed. No changes are made without prior approval.

System access is reviewed on a recurring basis as part of overall security posture.

What CarbonML Does Not Integrate With

CarbonML does not bypass carrier limitations, does not answer two phone numbers simultaneously, and does not access emails or unrelated account data.

Collaborative Onboarding and Testing

Integration options are reviewed and finalized collaboratively during onboarding. Each integration is tested and confirmed before it goes live.
